Although an unprepossessing choice, this is a homey and relaxed pensione on the border of Dorsoduro and San Polo. The English-speaking owner will proudly show you to your small but surprisingly well-decorated room. Booking ahead may ensure you get one of the few rooms with a pleasant view.
