Quick Bites, Perugia
Fodor's Review:
You can enjoy the lively comings and goings on Corso Vannucci from the vantage point of the Bar Sandri. The 19th-century bar has wood paneling and ceiling frescoes that date from 1860. Red-vested waiters serve homemade chocolates, pastries, and ice creams, along with tavola pronta, a daily selection of fast first and second courses, to Sandri's lunch crowd. If you notice students steering clear of the bar, it's because superstition dictates that if they go there they won't finish their degree.
