Fodor's Review

This walled medieval town, 3 km (2 miles) northeast of Chianciano Terme, is best known for its proximity to the nearby spas; nevertheless, the well-preserved center has an appeal all of its own.

Museo Civico Archeologico. This museum contains a good collection of Etruscan and Roman sculpture and pottery excavated from around the area. Via Dante 80, 53042. 0578/30471. www.museoetrusco.it. €5. Apr.–July and Sept.–Oct., Tues.–Sun. 10–1 and 4–7; Aug., daily 10–1 and 4–7; Nov.–Mar., weekends 10–1 and 4–7.
