Palazzo Ravizza Review

This romantic palazzo exudes a sense of genteel shabbiness. Rooms have high ceilings, antique furnishings, and bathrooms decorated with hand-painted tiles. The location is key: from here it's just a 10-minute walk to the Duomo. In warm weather, enjoy your breakfast in the garden with a trickling fountain. "We have only positive things to say about Palazzo Ravizza. From the amazing Tuscan view to the proximity to Il Campo, this hotel was by far the best one we stayed at throughout our Italy vacation," says one traveler on fodors.com.

This is a three star hotel in the middle of Siena inside the walls and walking distance to Il Campo and the Duomo, etc. Our room was a deluxe looking out to the garden and fabulous view of Tuscany. We ate in the restaurant one night and it was very good. The breakfast was just continental but they have other items at an additional cost. Our only complaint would be the maid service which was sloppy as we had a room with an upstairs with two beds which we did not use but they were still unmade when we checked in. All in all, it is a lovely place, very quiet and a good value for Tuscany.
