La Mangiatoia

La Mangiatoia Review

Multicolor gingham tablecloths provide an interesting juxtaposition with rib-vaulted ceilings dating from the 13th century. The lighthearted touch might be explained by the influence of chef Susi Cuomo, who has been presiding over the kitchen for more than 20 years. The menu is seasonal—in autumn, don't miss her sacottino di pecorino al tartufo (little packages of pasta stuffed with pecorino and seasoned with truffles). In summer, eat lighter fare on the intimate, flower-bedecked terrace in the back.
