The specialty of the house, a thick slab of beef called bistecca alla fiorentina, is usually served very rare. Paired with grilled fresh porcini mushrooms when in season (in spring and fall), it's a heady dish. The main floor of the restaurant has a small dining room serving full-course meals. In the evening, a second room is opened downstairs where you can order pizzas from the wood-burning oven. Reservations are essential in July and August.
