Hotel Ritz Review

The Biagi family lovingly restored this 1920s beaux arts villa, and opened it to the public in 1980. It is still a hands-on family affair. Sculptor Henry Moore (1898-1986) found inspiration during stays in the mid '80s, and it's easy to see why. Though elegant, the place is not pretentious. Spacious, airy public rooms lead directly to a garden with pool. Rooms are simple but elegant, with modern-art prints on the walls, art deco-esque furniture, and large marble bathrooms. The hotel is one block from the area's beach clubs and a short walk from the center of town.
