Montagliari

Montagliari Review

This ancient stone farmhouse is the place to go for very tasty Tuscan food. Enjoy your meal in the courtyard, or, when the temperature drops, the main dining room with a farm-style fireplace. The peposo (beef stew laced with black pepper) is particularly piquant; the papardelle al cinghiale (flat noodles with a wild boar sauce) delightfully fragrant. The wine list, particularly strong on local varieties, includes the farm's own Chianti Classico.
