Santa Margherita
Santa Margherita Review
The large 1897 basilica was constructed over the foundation of a 13th-century church dedicated to the same saint. What makes the 10-minute uphill walk worthwhile is the richly decorated interior. The body of the 13th-century Saint Margherita—clothed but with skull and bare feet clearly visible—is displayed in a case on the main altar.
