Porta all'Arco Etrusco

Porta all'Arco Etrusco Review

Even if a good portion of the arch was rebuilt by the Romans, three dark and weather-beaten 4th-century BC heads (thought to represent Etruscan gods) still face outward to greet those who enter here. A plaque on the outer wall recalls the efforts of the locals who saved the arch from destruction by filling it with stones during the German withdrawal at the end of World War II.
