Mercato (market) Review
Volterra's market is held on Saturday morning from November to April in Piazza dei Priori, and on Viale Ferrucci (just outside the city walls) from May through October. On hand are a selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as vendors selling everything from corkscrews to intimi (underwear).
