Bel Soggiorno Review

If you're looking for a place within the town walls, this is a fine choice. Contemporary furnishings in the guest rooms are softened by warm, umber-color walls and floral artwork. Rooms at the back of the hotel have magnificent views and some have panoramic terraces. The same family has run the hotel since 1886.

    It has been a while but...

    It has been a while since we stayed at this hotel but I wanted to give it a rating so it is not overlooked. We had a huge suite with two large doors opening onto a wide terrace overlooking the most beautiful countryside. The furnishings were sparse but functional. I remember the staff being friendly and you cannot beat the in-town location. The restaurant is great. We have stayed in San Gimignano three times and love this town. We just booked a room at Belsoggiorno for friends so we'll see how it is now.
