Angle for one of the few seats here to have an intimate meal and to try dishes both creative and deliciously simple. The palline di pecorino con lardo e salsa di pere (pecorino cheese balls wrapped with pork fat and briefly grilled), for instance, are sublime. So, too, are the amply portioned primi—the pici (a local pasta specialty resembling a thick spaghetti) is especially good. Sit at tables outside in summer.
