Fodor's Expert Review Relais San Bruno

Via di Pescaia 5/7, Montepulciano, Tuscany, 53045, Italy Fodor's Choice

Editor's Note: This location is reported to be under new ownership and therefore this review may contain inaccuracies.

Alberto Pavoncelli converted his family's summer home, just minutes from the town center, into a splendid inn where well-appointed rooms are filled with views. Set in extensive gardens with hammocks hidden here and there, the hotel's emphasis is on tranquillity and relaxation. Rooms are located in four separate cottages; breakfast is served in a fifth. Reproductions of Columbian artist Fernando Botero's paintings add a touch of whimsy. One Fodors.com user wrote, "the view of San Biagio and Montepulciano is stunning."
