Martino Salviati and his wife Giovanna have turned their working fattoria (farm)—on which they raise soybeans, corn, and sugar beets—into an inn. The charming, spacious apartments accommodate two to eight people and are rustically furnished, many of them with fireplaces. There's also a farmhouse that has been converted into a B&B. The pool is framed by fields, and the only sound you're likely to hear is the clucking of the hens they keep for eggs. The surrounding
woods can be explored on horseback or on a mountain bike.
