Fodor's Expert Review Vinitaly

This widely attended international wine and spirits event takes place for a few days in April. Recent gatherings have attracted more than 4,000 exhibitors from two dozen countries. The festivities kick off with Opera Wine (www.operawine.it), a showcase for the top 100 Italian wines as chosen by Wine Spectator magazine, which takes place in the Palazzo della Gran Guardia, in Piazza Bra.
