Caffè Pedrocchi Review
No visit to Padua is complete without taking time to sit in this massive café, as the French novelist Stendhal did shortly after the café was established, in 1831. Nearly 200 years later, it remains central to the city's social life, and also memorable—it's built in Egyptian Revival, the style that became popular after Napoléon's expeditions in Egypt. Its restaurant serves only lunch (12:30 to 2:30), and is proud of its innovative menu.
