Piazza dei Signori
Piazza dei Signori Review
The center of medieval Treviso, this piazza remains the town's social hub, with outdoor cafés and some impressive public buildings. The most important of these, the Palazzo dei Trecento (1185-1268), was the seat of the city government, composed of the Council of 300, during the Middle Ages. Behind it is a small alley that leads to the pescheria (fish market), on an island in one of the small canals that flow through town.
