This seafront, family-run establishment has a sunny, welcoming facade as well as friendly staff inside. Extras such as Wi-Fi and sea-view balconies make this reasonably priced hotel well worth the euros. Lounge in one of the deck chairs on the rooftop solarium or enjoy the nearby tennis courts, public outdoor pool, and golf course. Pro: Beachfront with panoramic bay views. Cons: Small rooms, beach across the street can be noisy, especially on Thursday and Saturday nights in the summer.

We spent 5 nights at Hotel Florida and explored the Italian coast from here. Our room was great and had a balcony with a wonderful view of the sea. The room was spotless each day and we were given thick towels and free bottled water. The people at the front desk were friendly and always available to give us directions, recommendations or to make calls for us for reservations etc. Breakfast choices were extensive and everything was fresh. The only drawback was one that was mentioned in the Fodor's book - on Saturday evening the beach across the street was noisy so on that night we had to close our balcony door and use the air conditioning. I would highly recommend this hotel to my friends.
