Fodor's Review:

Perched majestically a step above Camogli, overlooking harbor, peninsula, and sea, this is indisputably the best address in town. Genoa's doges once summered here. Ask for one of the rooms with expansive balconies and commanding vistas of Camogli's cozy port. You can relax in the well-kept park or enjoy a game of tennis. Pros: Location and setting are wonderful. Cons: Crowds make it seem overbooked in summer; decor is a bit old-fashioned.
