The five Belloni brothers share chef duties at this well-known restaurant full of odd combinations, including decor that has both rustic wood and modern metallic pieces. Try the passutelli (ravioli stuffed with ricotta cheese, herbs, and fruit) or any of the homemade pasta dishes. With a Zeffirino restaurant in Las Vegas and another in Hong Kong, the enterprising Bellonis have gone international, yet their Ligurian location remains an institution among the Genovese.

We had the fixed price menu, which included four courses. The first course, a seafood platter with raw and cooked seafood, was huge - one would have been enough for the two of us, butwe each had our own. For the price, it was an incredible bargain - but pretty expensive on the alacarte menu. The pasta with pesto sauce was unlike those I've had in the U.S. - not a heavy green sauce, but this beautifully light olive oil infused with basil. Delicious!
We then had an excellent fish entree and dessert. I thought the menu was very good and an excellent value.
