Fodor's Review:

This friendly, family-run hotel is an economical choice in the center of Camogli. Though you won't have a view of the sea, it's just a short walk away. Quiet guest rooms all have parquet floors and modern amenities. Pro: You can't beat the price, especially in high season. Cons: Some rooms face other buildings and are a little dark.

The breakfast was excellent and the staff were most helpful and attentive. The hotel is well positioned in the town of Camogli for easy acess to the beach, restaurants, bars. Very good position, clean, friendly staff, would go back!

we stay at Hotel Augusta in CAMOGLI, two weeks ago and it was everything that we had expected and wanted. Our hotel room, very clean, buffet breakfast was good, I would definitely go back to Camogli and stay in Hotel Augusta. Ops...Two star hotel, with air condition and electronic lock, really unsually.

This hotel appears to be in a 60s apartment buiilding. It is truly a 2 star hotel (which we were not aware of when booking through their very cute website). The rooms were clean but shabby and the bathroom left alot to be desired. Also, the name that appears on the outside of the hotel is Albergo with Augusta in small letters - making it difficult to locate and further enhancing the sense of trickery we had upon arrival.
