Fodor's Review:

Genoa's oldest church was the city's cathedral from the fourth to the ninth century. Rebuilt in the 16th and 17th centuries, it now feels a bit like a haunted house—imposing frescoes line dank hallways, and chandeliers hold crooked candles flickering in the darkness.
