Owner Guido Rizzi is a national pizza-making champion; he invented pizza Calabrese, a white pizza with garlic, mozzarella, and red-pepper flakes. Each of his 35 pies—especially the sedano (mozzarella, celery root, aged Parmesan cheese, oregano)—is delectable. Save room for desserts like the pizza dolce (sweet), which is made with bananas, strawberries, kiwi, and caramel. In a pleasant hilltop villa above the city center, the pizzeria is a bit hard to
reach, but worth it.
