Il Transatlantico Napoli Review

Enjoying perhaps the most enchanting setting in all of Naples, this modestly priced hotel tops many travelers' dream list of places to stay. In one of the buildings of the toy-sized Borgo Marinaro harbor, directly within the shadow of the Castel dell'Ovo medieval fortress, Il Transatlantico has guest rooms fitted out in yacht style: all blue and white, with swab-the-decks gleaming wood trim, they stand no comparison directly out the windows to vistas over the harbor, the Lungomare, and even the grand panorama of Vesuvius at the end of the bay—a view that even folks paying $2,000 can't enjoy at the luxury hotels just across the pier on the mainland. On top of all this, the hotel's restaurant is superior. Staying here is almost like being aboard your own yacht.
