Tucked away on the road leading to Citara Beach is one of the island's finest eateries. Try the crudo italiana (an Italian take on sushi) to start, and then just indulge in food that tastes as good as it looks. New dishes with a twist are regularly introduced: one year's winner was fried anchovies stuffed with provola cheese and homemade tomato bread. Another specialty is the beccaccia, a rabbit dish. Those on a higher budget and with a healthy appetite should
treat themselves to the featured special menu—particulary the Mano Libera, the chef's choice, which gives local fish and vegetables a nouvelle spin. Popular as this place is, be sure to reserve for summer dinners.
