This ristorante-pizzeria is the first you'll see if you arrive in Anacapri by bus. A shabby staircase leads to the covered terrace with panoramic views of the Barbarossa castle on the hill as well as the sea. The no-frills ambience belies the quality of the cucina: besides pizze they specialize in local dishes—be sure to try the risotto con gamberi a limone (shrimp with lemon).

The restaurant has moved and is no longer in Anacapri. It is outside of the town in a beautiful wooded setting (though no views of the sea). The restaurant is charming and is a family affair. My wife and I had the maccheroncelle al cartoccio (baked pasta with seafood) which was heavenly. The total bill for two adults and two children was under 80 Euros.
