This restaurant perches over a beach in Posillipo near the end of a long winding side road, and has long capitalized on its location. The landmark comes with its own legend: the story goes that in the 19th century any Juliet would promise herself simply by appearing at the window ("fenestella" in the local dialect) to the Romeo sailing in the boat below, thus inspiring the Neapolitan folk song "Marechiare." Today, the restaurant is blatantly traditional, with a
comfortable decor and the usual suspects on the menu. For more stylish food and people, and better value for money, head across the road to Da Cicciotto.
