Fodor's Review

In a 17th-century palazzo on a tiny square behind the Duomo, this place takes its name from the painter of the amazing Sette Opere della Misericordia altarpiece, which can be seen in the chapel opposite. Spaccanapoli's first "modernist" hotel, the Caravaggio is atmospherically furnished with blocks of volcanic stone in the entrance hall; the guest rooms, some of which have a Jacuzzi, are refreshingly light and airy.
