Getting Here and Around in Ravello
Getting Here and Around
By car, take the hill road climbing just east of Atrani, or take the Angri exit on the A3 motorway and cross the mountainous Valico di Chiunsi. SITA and City Sightseeing buses make the run up and down the mountain between Ravello and Piazza Flavio Gioia in Amalfi, where you can catch the main Amalfi Drive bus to Sorrento. In Ravello, you can purchase tickets prior to boarding at Punto e Virgola (Via Roma 5) and Bar Calce (Via Boccaccio 11). There are about two buses every hour. Open-top City Sightseeing buses make eight trips daily from Amalfi (and connect with the more modern beach towns of Minori and Maiori) for €3. Piazza del Duomo is the town's central point, with (as you face the Duomo) Via Roma to the left (north), Via San Giovanni del Toro straight ahead (east) up the steps of Via Wagner, and Via dei Rufolo to the right (south).
