In a valley between Salina's two mountains, this hotel has most of the hallmarks of Mediterranean charm—large terraces for contemplation, a location in a sleepy town, and pleasing food served on summer evenings in the restaurant. The Solemar also makes a good base for hiking up Salina's highest peak.
