On a little side street you'll find this dimly lighted haunt, where you can enjoy ancient dishes in what feels like an old wine bar. The traditional Sicilian sarde a beccaficu is a sweet-and-sour dish of sardines marinated in lemon juice, split open, and stuffed with bread crumbs, pine nuts, and sugar. Also on the menu is risotto with wild fennel.
