Villa Sonia

Fodor's Review:

All of the rooms at Castelmola's best hotel have private terraces with spectacular views. Along with a refreshing swimming pool, public spaces include a lobby, bar, and lounge that take advantage of the vistas, plus a restaurant with a wine bar and wine store called Enoteca Divino. The rates are a good value when you bear in mind the price gouging in nearby Taormina. Pros: Far from the madding crowds, stupendous views. Cons: Not much to do in the evening, a bit old-fashioned.
