Fodor's Review:

Via Etnea is host to one of Sicily's most enthusiastic passeggiate (early-evening strolls), in which Catanese of all ages take part. Closed to automobile traffic until 10 PM during the week and all day on weekends, the street is lined with cafés and jewelry, clothing, and shoe stores.
