The lovely historic center of Ragusa, known as Ibla, was completely rebuilt after the devastating earthquake of 1693. A tumble of buildings perched on a hilltop and suspended between a deep ravine and a sloping valley, it's tiny squares and narrow lanes make for pleasant meandering.
