Trattoria dei Templi
Trattoria dei Templi Review
Along a road on the way up to Agrigento proper from the temple area, this simple family-run vaulted restaurant serves up some of the best food in the area. The menu includes five different homemade pastas each day and plenty of fresh fish dishes, all prepared with a Sicilian flare. The antipasti, such as the carpaccio of cernia (grouper), are exceptional, and the ample wine list has many Sicilian choices. The best bet is to ask for the advice of brothers Giuseppe and Simone. Reservations are recommended in the high season, as things get busy after it becomes too dark for temple exploring.
