Along a road on the way up to Agrigento proper from the temple area, this family-run vaulted restaurant serves up some tasty traditional food. The menu includes five different homemade pastas each day as well as plenty of fresh fish dishes, all prepared with Sicilian flair. The antipasti, such as the carpaccio of cernia (grouper), are exceptional, and the ample wine list has many Sicilian choices. The best bet is to ask for the advice of brothers Giuseppe and Simone, the owners and chief orchestrators in the restaurant. Reservations are recommended in the high season.
