Designed in 1963 by the architect Luigi Vietti, the Cervo Hotel is an integral part of the surrounding resort. Low Mediterranean buildings with Spanish tile roofs surround a large pool and garden in the heart of the Costa Smeralda's Porto Cervo. The spacious, white adobe rooms, most with a terrace, feel somewhat stuck in time, with colorful painted wood furniture, slip-covered sofas, and other similar furnishings. The five tennis courts are lit at night. High-season prices (half board required) are through the roof, but prices can plunge in winter. This Starwood Sheraton hotel complex is next to the marina and the busy piazzetta (small piazza).
