Fodor's Review

Designed in 1963 by the architect Luigi Vietti, the Cervo Hotel is an integral part of the surrounding resort. Low Mediterranean buildings with Spanish tile roofs surround a large pool and garden in the heart of the Costa Smeralda's Porto Cervo. Somewhat stuck in time and dated, colorful painted wood furniture, slip-covered sofas, and similar furnishing, fill the spacious, white adobe rooms; most have a terrace. The five tennis courts are lit at night. High-season prices

(half board required) are through the roof, but in winter, prices can plunge. This Starwood Sheraton hotel complex is next to the marina and the busy piazzetta (small piazza).
