Fodor's Review

Once Rome's largest and possibly cleverest temple (it was dedicated to Venus and Rome or, in Latin, to "amor" and "Roma"), it was begun by Hadrian in AD 121 and finished 20 years later. The temple is accessible from the end of the Forum near the Arco di Tito, and offers a great view of the Colosseum.
