Fodor's Review

Formerly a monastery founded by monks of the order of San Saba after they had fled from Jerusalem following the Arab invasion, this is a major monument of Romanesque Rome. Inside, an almost rustic interior harbors a famed Cosmatesque mosaic pavement and a hodgepodge of ancient marble pieces.
