Rome Restaurants

La Ciambella

La Ciambella Review

The sprawling space evokes a U.S. restaurant, with a bar up front and a bartender mixing specialty cocktails, but the structure itself is all Roman, with brick archways, high ceilings, and a skylight in one of the dining rooms that allows guests to gaze at the fantastic Roman sky. The emphasis here is on high-quality primary ingredients and Italian culinary traditions, evident in the incomparable Pugliese burrata cheese, thin-crust pizzas, flavorful pastas (both classic and seasonal specialties), and grilled meats on offer. Thursdays offer an added benefit at aperitivo hour: live jazz music.
