Hotel San Pietrino Review

How this simple, but cute hotel within close proximity to the Vatican manages to keep its bargain prices is definitely a mystery. It's located on the third floor of a 19th-century palazzo that's only a five-minute walk to St. Peter's Square. In addition to clean, simple rooms, San Pietrino offers air-conditioning, TVs with DVD players, and high-speed Internet to guests. There is no breakfast included and no bar in the hotel, but not to worry—with all the local caffè and bars, you won't have any trouble finding yourself a cornetto and cappuccino in the morning or a prosecco for aperitivo in the evening.

This hotel was the shining star of our trip to Europe in June of 2010. The San Pietrino was able to accomodate our family of 6 in one large room at a reasonable price. The hotel is centrally located in a lovely part of Rome, about a 10 minute walk from the Vatican. Our room was clean, modern, attractive, and comfortable. The staff members were extreemly polite and always very helpfull. I would happly return to this hotel any time we are in Rome!

I am 17 years old, so Interbet is a big deal for me. When we went on our trip to Rome, my mom checked the Fodor's book out of our library. After our first two hotels failed to have internet I grabbed the book and flipped to the hotels. I saw that the Hotel San Pietrino was cheap, sounded nice, and had internet. I convinced my dad to make a reservation and we checked in. We were astonished with what we found. The room was not only nice, it was immaculate. It was clean, up kept, and had an amazing view out the window of the street below. My entire family enjoyed looking out the window and capturing the life of the Italians. The staff that was working was very helpful and conveniently spoke very good English. For the price, this hotel was a wonderful find, and the highlight of my trip to Rome.
