Run by the niece of the owner of the pizzeria Da Baffetto, La Montecarlo has a similar menu and is almost as popular as its relative around the corner. Pizzas are super-thin and a little burned around the edges—the sign of a good wood-burning oven. This is one of few pizzerias open for both lunch and dinner.

Although Baffetto is our favorite, La Montecarlo is a close second. The pizza here is a little thinner than Baffetto's, but the sauce is excellent and not as salty. The pizza with pepperoni (roasted red peppers) was very yummy. The salads are nice sized and can be shared by two people. Fast and efficient waitstaff. Good prices, good location.

Had the best pizza ever at this place, and so cheap! My pizza was 4 euro, my husband's pizza was 6 euro, we had a half carafe of their house red wine (so good!) was only 2.50 euro. The tab was only 12.50 before tip! Delicous!
