Giorgi e Febbi has been fabric heaven since 1784. Chic decorators -- including those who worked for Agnelli and Onassis -- flock here to find the shop usually stacked from floor to ceiling with bales of upholstery material and curtain fabrics, some of which are produced in the company mill in Sicily. Look for intricate jacquards and brocades in muted Italian colors, antique Indian Tree of Life bedspreads, pure-cotton strips for awnings and garden chairs, plus a wide selection of silk cords and various trimmings.
