Tempio della Fortuna Virilis

  • Address: Piazza Bocca della Verità, Aventino, Rome | Map It

Fodor's Review:

A picture-perfect, if dollhouse-size, Roman temple, this rectangular edifice from the 2nd century BC is built in the Greek style, as was the norm in Rome's early years. It owes its fine state of preservation, considering its venerable age, to the fact that it was consecrated and used as a Christian church.
