The craft beer movement has really taken hold in Italy of late. The Baladin label owns this sceney beer-and-burger joint in a gorgeous, sprawling space down the road from Campo de' Fiori. Staff members take their jobs—and brews—seriously, and they're helpful with recommendations from the more than 40 interesting options on tap, from Baladin's own domestic beers to imports from Belgium, Germany, and beyond. There are also more than 100 bottled beers on offer. Burgers can be a little too complicated for their own good, but if Piemontese beef topped with, say, 'nduja or mozzarella di bufala appeals, this is your place—and don't miss the hand-cut potato chips (try the licorice or paprika flavors).
