Fodor's Review

There's an urban-loft feel to this trendy two-story space, a bit like a Pottery Barn exploded in Piazza Augusto Imperatore. The ground floor trattoria has a busy, buzzing atmosphere and serves typically Roman and Italian staples, done well. The ground-floor wine bar in the back has a casual-but-hopping vibe, where a rotating selection of wines by the glass and bottle are served alongside a vast array of cheeses, salumi, and breads. Lunchtime features a great-value salad bar. And for the kitchen enthusiast, the 'Gusto "complex" includes a store, selling everything from cookware to cookwear. Upstairs is a more upscale restaurant, where some dishes work, some don't.
