Ai Monasteri has dark-wood paneling, choirlike alcoves, and painted angels. Here you'll find traditional products made by Italy's diligent friars and monks. The herbal decoctions, liqueurs, beauty aids, and toiletries are all explained in English, as well as Italian. The recipe for its Elixir dell'Amore (love potion) is centuries old, or opt for a bottle of its always popular Elixir of Happiness. There are myriad products, ranging from bath-oils specially formulated to protect your sun tan, colognes for children, quince-apple jams, Royal Jelly honeys, barola grappas, and a wide array of skin treatments.
