Museums / Galleries, Castles / Palaces, Piazza di Trevi
Fodor's Review:
Founded by a group of painters in the 1400s, this private academy of the arts is housed in 16th-century Palazzo Carpegna. Its gallery is open to the public (though currently closed for restoration) and contains some fine Renaissance paintings, including a charming putto by Raphael as well as his Madonna of St. Luke.
