Fodor's Review:
The Rome Opera Ballet gives regular performances at its home base, Teatro dell'Opera, although despite aging ballet mistress Carla Fracci at its helm, the company is not up to the caliber of other urban ballet companies around the world. Still, they perform many of the classics, sometimes with leading international guest stars. In summer, performances move to outdoor venues like the lovely Baths of Caracalla. Most of its performances are at Teatro dell'Opera (Piazza Beniamino Gigli 8, Termini. 06/481601; 06/48160255 tickets).
